Vibratory Feeding System - Automotive
 Flow
Automation provides vibratory feeding systems solutions for
many automotive assembly requirements. The feeder station pictured here is one of eighteen (18) feeding stations designed and
built by Flow Automation to supply various components to a plastic
gasoline tank assembly system. All feeder bowls are custom tooled
to suit each individual part. For this system, the bowls are
driven by high efficiency (CE approved) electromagnetic vibratory
drives. These drive units and parts are available globally,
and are characterized by minimal vibration transfer and quiet
operation. Flow Automation has specified either vibratory linear
drives or linear conveyors for transfer of the various parts
to escapements or dead nests (as dictated by part type and respective
feed rate) for robotic arm pick-up. Each feeding cell for this
application is completed with the addition of a vibratory bulk
parts hopper, heavy duty base weldment and customer-specified
electrical terminal enclosure.
